Nissan Motor Indonesia, introduced a new crossover, the All Nissan Juke 15 RX as well as exploring market interest in Indonesia. But this brand-new model just marketed in 2011.
"This new crossover has been marketed in various countries of the world, whether in Europe, America, and parts of Asia. This car offers a superior driving comfort and safety, as well as environmentally friendly," said Carlos Ghosn, President & Chief Executive Officer of Nissan Motor Company (NMC ) Ltd.
Meanwhile, Teddy Irawan, Vice President of Sales & Marketing Group NMI said, with the presence of Juke, the institute explores automotive markets, particularly homeland in the crossover segment.
The price has not yet been determined. Right now NMI still calculating, the current spec with local component suppliers from Indonesian vendors about what the right price.
In Japan this HRDE 1,500 cc engine car was offered in several types with the official price of 1.69 to 1.79 million yen, or about USD 172 - USD 182 million.
Nissan says, this car utilize dual injector technology for even more perfect carburetion. As a result other than bigger energy produced, fuel consumption is also more economical.
The result of Juke trials in Japan showed that the level of fuel consumption is one liter for 19 kilometers distance. While the power output reached 114 PS at 6,000 rpm and torque of 150 Newton meters (Nm).
This crossover is using transmission systems Xtronic Continously Variable Transmission (CVT) with five speed manual transmition.
In addition to the automatic light control system - automatic lights on and turn off while the engine is on or off - the other features offered on this car is, Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS), Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), SRS Airbag, Rear View Monitor Carwings Navigation System is equipped with a map updating system.
Last but not least a device for three driving mode selection: normal, sport, and ecodrive goes along in this car.
