PT. Garuda Mataram Motor (GMM) as the Audi car manufacturer, launched its premium sedan, the Audi A8L with long wheelbase. Although the A8 is generally marketed in China, but the units sold in Indonesia, according to GMM is imported directly from Ingolstatd Germany.
Appearance of this luxury sedan surely elegant with a curved characteristic LED lights under the main headlights. Attractive facility that is included in this sedan is a WLAN hotspot, enabling passengers to connect to the internet anywhere. Hence, to facilitate passengers using the computer at any time, the Audi A8 equipped with a 220 volt electricity outlet that can also be used to charge mobile phone battery.
Also provided a DVD player and headphones, autoclock in the back seat, cabin lighting control, multimedia with voice control. Also provided a control panel entertainment system for rear passengers. With this feature, passengers can choose different types of entertainment.
This sedan has a dimension of 5.27 meters long (13 cm longer than the standard version). In the sector of engine, Audi choosing 3,000 cc, V6-FSI Quatro engine which produces 290 PS power and 420 Nm of torque, paired with 8-speed transmission Triptronic with the operation of the shift by wire. This technology enables manually shift via the gearshift stick or the paddle shift on steering wheel.
The Audi A8L priced from IDR 1.7 billion (off the road in Jakarta) and is offered in two variants, namely the Standard and Full Optional. The difference beetwen both variant are only in luxury features with the price difference is approximately IDR 260 million more expensive.
