PT. Toyota Astra Motor has signaled that this year they will launch three facelifted models, one of them is Hilux, and will appear in the Indonesia International Motor Show held in late July 2011.
From the pictures shows changes in the headlights, grille, and bumpers, like taking it from Land Cruiser 200 Series design. Although just a facelift, this change can refresh the look of the ute as a whole, giving the impression of more muscular, sporty, conservative as well.
Meanwhile, the engine and transmission are still the same. Only, Toyota added safety feature electronic stability control (ESC) as standard factory package, as did Volkswagen Amarok.
Toyota Hilux facelift will display at the Australian International Motor Show in Melbourne, July 1, 2011. Consumers can only have it in September or October.
