Mazda Motor Corp. (MMC) has stopped the production of their sports car the RX-8 rotary-engined due to two things, falling sales and tightening global emissions standards. Production at Hiroshima factories, Japan ended at early July, while global sales end this year.
Mazda RX-8 and three generations of RX-7 with a rotary engine has long circulated in the market. With the 1.3L engine is equipped with twin-motor, the rotary engine produces power 232 HP at 8500 rpm.
