Honda Fit Electric Vehicle

In last Los Angeles Auto Show event, Honda also displays the mass production version of the Fit Electric. This hachback has appeared in Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS), last August, just when it's still a draft.

Fit is equipped with electric-powered electric motor 92 is equivalent to 125.7 kW or PS. Sources of energy intake obtained of battery power 20 kWh lithium ion battery - the same as that used in the FCX Clarity. According to Honda, with plugging the cable in the socket voltage 240 volts, the battery can be fully charged in three hours. with this provision, the driver can tour the city as far as 198 km and 122 km out of town.

This car has three driving style options, Econ, Normal and Sport. By choosing Econ, then the driver can save power up to 17 percent of the Normal model. While the Sport mode, the car acceleration aggressively increase.

Honda plans to market Fit Electric in the U.S. starting next year with a retail price of the proposed manufacturing 36 625 U.S. dollars (IDR 329,4 million) per unit. As an initial marketing, Fit Electric will be leased to utilities in California companies, Oregon, next summer followed by the six other major cities early 2013. The cost of rent per month priced 399 U.S. dollars (IDR 3,58 million).

Honda targeting Fit Electric production could reach 1,100 units in the next three years. However, this number still tentative and can go up or down depending on market demand.
