PT. Toyota Astra Motor (TAM) and PT. Astra Daihatsu Motor (ADM) once again collaborate to make cars, the Agya and Ayla that promotes affordable price, interior spaciousness and fuel efficiency.
Previously, these two automakers synergy has spawned deadly duo the Toyota Avanza - Daihatsu Xenia then Toyota Rush - Daihatsu Terios. The Agya and Ayla are planed to follow government programs related to Low Cost Green Car (LCGC).
Both models have a compact interior design but spacious, comfortable and can carry five passengers so it is suitable to family needs. Although it"s cheap, the model has meet safety standards and ensure the safety of drivers. Agya and Ayla has extremely fuel-efficient with 30 KM / L, same as the hybrid but far more in affordable prices, and the greatest thing is, these two new models using local components by 84 percent as well as reinforce the original model produced in Indonesia.
Agya comes in three variants, TRD-S, High-Grade (G), and Medium-Grade (E) with a choice of white, silver, black, metallic gray, light blue and dark blue color exclusive metallic.TRD- S equipped with aerokit to reinforce the impression of sporty. While the G variant features chrome exterior highlight the frontair outlet and fender. Design of the doors and rear spoiler also looks different and more sporty. The standout is the second line that provides leg room is very spacious.
Currently these two still awaiting LCGC regulation to be issued by the government. TAM has not yet officially issued price. However one of the sales person from Auto2000 had dared to say that Agya can already be booked with IDR 5 million with the possibility of delivery between January to March 2013, and price is between IDR 90-100 million.
