PT. Mazda Motor Indonesia (MMI) introducing their newest MPV cars the Mazda 8 in Jakarta on last Wednesday. However, MMI reluctant to elaborate further because of this new automobiles will be launched officially in mid of this year.
Mazda 8 comprised of two types namely Mazda-8 2.3 Premium and Mazda-8 2.3 Deluxe. Both cars have MZR engine In-Line 4-cyl and DOHC 16-valve w / S-VT and VIS with Maximum Torque (Nm / rpm) 20.7kg-m (203Nm) / 3.500 rpm according to the official website of Mazda.
Currently, MMI has had 27 showrooms in Indonesia. Mazda sales in Indonesia has significantly grown with total sales reaching 13,500 units, with Mazda-2 and BT-50 truck as major contributor. Mazda 2 alone has sold more than 6000 units.
