Mazda Biante Launched

PT Mazda Motor Indonesia launched their new eight passenger MPV Mazda Biante to fill the MPV segment once inhabited by Mazda E-2000. in the IIMS 2012 event Mazda showcased its car portfolio from popular up to premium and bring more than 10 models.

Besides Biante, Mazda show Takeri concept that describes Kodo design as an advanced designed car to be the most agile in its class. This concept car is equipped with environment friendly technologies such as SKYACTIV, regeneratet braking, iELOOP and I-Stop.

MMI bear up the theme "Engineering the Future" with a primary focus Mazda showed the ability to think far to the future. The combination of the ability to produce futuristic cars yet consider the concept of environmental friendly.

Mazda CX-9 2013 Image Teaser

Recently Mazda Japan spread the photos of fresh new faces CX-9 2013. This means that if it is released, to get in Indonesia, we have to be patient until the end of next year.




From the photos, it seems obvious that the design of the Mazda CX-9 is inspired from the concept of Kodo 'Soul of Motion "which was adopted by it sister, the Mazda CX-5. When viewed silhouette, although there are some common point at the end of the front lights and the overall design, the seven-seater crossover is more rounded.

No leaks about the specs yet, but Mazda has promised todeliver interior with a higher grade than the old model, or even the Mazda CX-5. And obviously, in which will be added edge of infotainment features owned by Mazda, also features speech- recognition device capable of voice commands or limb of passengers.

Other features that will be installed is the Lane Departure Warning System, High Beam Control System, to Forward Obstruction Warning System which helps the driver avoid hazards.

Engine will be using SkyActiv tech four-cylinder 3200 cc V6 with 3 speed automatic transmission, fuel economy is claimed. After launching in Sidney, CX-9 will be introduced in the U.S. mid next year.

Mazda finally launched the CX-5 SUV

Through a long wait, Mazda finally launched the CX-5 SUV in Indonesia. Mazda provides two variants of the All New Mazda CX-5 Sport priced at IDR 375 million and All New Mazda CX-5 Touring IDR 410 million on the road in Jakarta.

CX-5 is reinforced with SKYACTIV-G gasoline engine capacity of 2,000 cc. For gasoline engines have a high 14:1 compression that can deliver massive power. Mazda claims when compared to port injection 2,000 cc engine, the CX-5 engine 15 percent more fuel efficient.

Exterior, the vehicle can accommodate five passengers it carries the theme 'Kodo-Soul of Motion' which displays the typical SUV is sturdy and functional as well as bring the vitality and dynamic style.

Mazda RX-8 Spirit R final edition

Mazda Motor Corporation (MMC) introduced the RX-8 SPIRIT R. This version is a special edition, the RX four-door, four-seat rotary-engined. Sales plan begins 24 November 2011 at all Mazda and Mazda Anfini dealers in Japan. This special edition is the last production of the Mazda RX-8 which will be discontinued at the end of June 2012. Mazda hopes to sell about 1,000 units of this edition.

SPIRIT R RX-8 using a base RX-8 Type RS (8-speed manual transmission) and Type E (six-speed automatic transmission that electronically controlled). SPIRIT R special edition name previously used to mark the end of the RX-7. Characteristic of this last edition, appear more stylish and exclusive seat design with stylish bouquet of Recaro. While alloy rims color paired with 225/40-R19 89W (brass color).

This car is fitted with a special logo SPIRIT R, headlights, fog lights and rear combination with a black bezel. Front and rear brake calipers are also painted red. The end of Mazda RX-8

Mazda Motor Corp. (MMC) has stopped the production of their sports car the RX-8 rotary-engined due to two things, falling sales and tightening global emissions standards. Production at Hiroshima factories, Japan ended at early July, while global sales end this year.

Mazda RX-8 and three generations of RX-7 with a rotary engine has long circulated in the market. With the 1.3L engine is equipped with twin-motor, the rotary engine produces power 232 HP at 8500 rpm.

Unfortunately, sales were less enthusiastic and only sold 1134 units last year, down 49 percent compared to 2009. Even until last July, the marketing down another 21 percent.

The RX-8 which now has a price of 27,590 U.S. dollars, make their top sales and reached 23,690 units in 2004. In fact, the first generation of RX-7 exceeded 50,000 units in the 1980s.

Mazda recalls RX-8 of the European market last year due to failing to meet emission standards. Thus without any demand from Europe, Mazda can not sell the RX-8, whilw exporting from Japan is very difficult due to the strengthening of the yen against the dollar, making the Mazda suffered operating losses in North America from April to June almost tripled, at $ 833.9 billion.

Mazda 2 Facelift

The latest version of Mazda 2 who also called Mazda Demio has been allowed to be ordered (pre-order) in Japan. The official launch is on 30 June. According to Mazda Motor Corporation (MMC), the car is equipped with Mazda's latest technology called SKYACTIV. As a result, fuel consumption is claimed to reach 30.0 km / liter. However, with the latest Japanese JC08 test method, the result is 25.0 km / liter.

In their home country, this Mazda sold starting from 1.149 million yen (IDR 150 million) to the most expensive 1,621,750 yen (IDR 172 million). There has been no explanation of other changes, such as the body and interior, except the engine.

According to the explanation, the new Mazda 2 is the first product that uses SKYACTIV technology and called 13-SKYACTIV. That is, the 1300 cc petrol engine uses direct injection system with compression ratio 14.0: 1. According to Mazda, this is a gasoline engine with the highest compression ratio in the world today.

Another technology that is included for the first time used on or Mazda 2 is stationary stop system or i-stops that have been updated. It is said, the latest i-stop Mazda is able to produce fuel consumption that is more economical and more refined engine restart.

Mazda 8 launch this year

PT. Mazda Motor Indonesia (MMI) introducing their newest MPV cars the Mazda 8 in Jakarta on last Wednesday. However, MMI reluctant to elaborate further because of this new automobiles will be launched officially in mid of this year.

Mazda 8 comprised of two types namely Mazda-8 2.3 Premium and Mazda-8 2.3 Deluxe. Both cars have MZR engine In-Line 4-cyl and DOHC 16-valve w / S-VT and VIS with Maximum Torque (Nm / rpm) 20.7kg-m (203Nm) / 3.500 rpm according to the official website of Mazda.

Currently, MMI has had 27 showrooms in Indonesia. Mazda sales in Indonesia has significantly grown with total sales reaching 13,500 units, with Mazda-2 and BT-50 truck as major contributor. Mazda 2 alone has sold more than 6000 units.

Mazda SKYACTIV introduced

Mazda introduced a technology they call "SKYACTIV" future generations. This technology consists of six components of the vehicle, the gasoline engine, diesel engine, automatic and manual transmission, body, and chassis.

Mazda SKYACTIV Engines

Highest & lowest of all the technology, the most proud of and is the first sequence is SKYACTIV-G, namely direct injection gasoline engines with compression ratio 14.0: 1. Mazda also claim it as a gasoline engine with the highest compression in the world. The result of this engine test-fitted on Mazda Demio (Mazda2 in overseas called)-fuel consumption 30 km / liter.

They also explained, with a high compression ratio, engine fuel efficiency rose to 15 percent, as well as torque. Nevertheless, this machine is still okay to use for day-to-day (usually a high compression engine for racing). Torque produced is also increased and can be obtained starting from a low to medium rotation. For this, use the Mazda exhaust system 4-2-1 formation. Mazdaspeed3

Early last month Mazda previewed the Mazdaspeed3 that will make its official debut at the Geneva Motor Show. The super smiley face of the new redesigned Mazda3 has been butched up for Mazdaspeed3 duty (the car is called the Mazda3 MPS outside the U.S.). The new car sports a hood scoop that even a Subaru WRX would be proud to wear, as well as its own unique grille trim, round foglamps, a roof-mounted spoiler, rear diffuser and its own set of wheels.

Sources are saying that the new design won’t be joined by a new engine, as the same MZR 2.3L direct-inject, turbocharged four-cylinder will be used at launch though with power slightly increased to around 268 horsepower. The only other bit of tech info we have is a rumor that involves the Ford Focus RS. The Focus RS uses a special RevoKnuckle suspension system that virtually eliminates the issue of torque steer for the front-wheel-drive hot hatch, and rumor has it the Mazdaspeed3 may also take advantage of this system. Mazda CX-7 Specs Features

"The CX-7 has been a Car and Driver crossover favorite since its debut in 2006 -- lots of style, respectable power, and road manners worthy of the ‘Zoom-Zoom' tagline," says Car and Driver. "The only element that seemed to need attention was pricing, which could be perceived as a little high versus the base models of key competitors such as the Honda CR-V and Toyota RAV-4." Mazda has addressed this concern with the new model -- the 2010 CX-7's base price is $22,300, a decrease of $2,350 compared to the 2009 base model.
