Chevrolet will introduce Trax their new compact crossover SUV to 140 countries, but the U.S. isn't one of them. Even Mexico and Canada will get the new five-passenger hauler, so we'll be able to see them from here, just not buy one. In fact, Mexico and Canada will be the first markets to get the Trax later this year. The Trax will be head to head with Nissan Juke that allready roaming Indonesian road for sometimes.

GM provided few Trax details, including powertrains, but said the production Trax will be unveiled at the Paris Motor Show in September.
In dimension the Juke and Trax are almost identical. Trax which for the European market bearing the name Opel Mokka has a size length of 4248 mm, width 1776 mm and 2555 mm wheelbase. While the dimensions of Juke 4125 mm, 1765 mm and 2530 mm.
Exterior design, especially the appearance of headlights and grille design adopted from Captiva, combined front and rear fenders slightly fatter (bloated), thus giving the impression of stout. Then, there is a 1.7 liter turbo diesel power capable of spitting out 130 PS and 300 Nm of torque with a 6 speed automatic power transfer. Both variants of the 1.4L and 1.7L has an option (all-wheel drive). As for the manual transmission variant it would added technology start / stop. For several decades Chevrolet has been known to have a reliable SUV. Including Trax which will also make it happen.
